For Thorns As Well As Roses

This pictures brings me to think about all the wonderful things God has blessed me with just over the past year. Christmas is now over, and we're left with this little bit of the year, that will probably speed past us. 

I can't stop thanking God for this year. No doubt there were many unexpected challenges, but I really thank God that it was Him who came through for me, and not anything else. So true that if you learn to appreciate the tough times, life can never be THAT hard. Those challenges changed my life, in one way or another. 

I'm also grateful for the people God has placed in my life to walk this year with me. The many times I got so close to giving up, i believe it must have been His love who grabbed me and placed me back on track, to believe in trusting Him over and over again. Best thing is, at the end of it, I never trusted in vain. Its not about how long it takes to get out of it, but how much you are willing to learn from it. 

I'm glad I came to Him. 

Its been such a wonderful Christmas. It has never been so meaningful to me. Hope this is the beginning of a beautiful journey :)
